Save Yourself, Save the Earth – Renewable Body Renewable World

This is the new phase of my life that I am so interested in sharing with you. There is nothing I love more than trying the best vegan and raw dishes, practicing bagua zhang and yoga, and figuring out how to remove trash from landfills and making compost into energy.

It seems that the more I do for my body and my good health the more reasons I find for wanting to be the best at composting and recycling.

Why?

I think I learned that each human body has things it loves to digest and things it does not. I think the Earth shares that same distinction. The body and the Earth can reduce the right materials in such a way as to not leave a mark or a cancer or a pool of festering waste in the dark recesses of your bowels.

Why won’t more people believe it?
Why will someone eat a one pound steak, suffer terrible heart burn, go to the doctor and agree to take some pills they never heard of instead of just removing the steak from their mouth.

Humans think they have a right to abuse themselves. They have been served a bill of goods that says eating salads and vegetables is the diet of the poor and meat is the diet of the rich. That’s a load of bullshit!

Meat is good. Oh yes but if you don’t know how to eat it in moderation, you will be the cause of your own physical breakdown.

Oh you probably wont die but would you like to live to 90 looking like this:

Or with a slow meditative practice and careful eating practices you could be like this at 90:

What will it be people?

Well anyway that’s enough until tomorrow.

Thanks for reading.

Hi Bill,

You are right. I am recently aware of how sweets (not those made of natural fruit) can be really bad for the system.

Also I realise how important it is to eat in moderation. Especially during the festive seasons! (For me Chinese New Year especially - There are 15 days to traditionally feast with clients and friends)

Your blog is a timely reminder for me...:)
